Rustic Adirondack Bench

I built this bench a couple of years ago after limbing my cedar trees.

It’s a fairly simple build: A frame of heavier branches – about 4″ in diameter. The most challenging part is to get two that have the same curve for the back leg supports.

I cut notches with a chainsaw and screw the parts together. I also put poly glue in the joints, but I’m not sure what that adds to the strength. Once the frame is in done, I put rough-sawn boards on it, then apply an outdoor sealer.
